The Student Council of the BA School of Business and Finance of the University of Latvia (BA SP) is a voluntary student organization that represents the interests of students in both academic and extracurricular matters.
BA SP promotes dialogue between students and the university administration and actively contributes to improving the study environment and the overall quality of student life.
The Council enriches students’ daily experience by organizing social, cultural, and educational events, while also providing opportunities to develop leadership, communication, and organizational skills through practical involvement.
BA SP members are active not only within the Student Council and the School, but also in various institutions of the University of Latvia, where they represent students’ interests.
Every BA student is invited to get involved in BA SP activities, bring their ideas to life, gain valuable experience, and become part of an active and engaged student community.
Students' Council of the University of Latvia (LU SP)
The Student Council of the University of Latvia (LU SP) is an independent body representing students’ rights and interests at the University of Latvia. Each year, representatives elected from the student self-governments of all seven faculties form the highest student decision-making body — the Student Council.
LU SP represents the interests of all students in academic, financial, cultural, social, and international matters, and takes part in shaping higher education processes both at the University of Latvia and at the national level.
