The Cybersecurity Research Laboratory (CybReLab) is a laboratory of the BA School of Business and Finance of the University of Latvia (until 31 August 2025 – the School of Business and Finance). It was established to conduct research in information security, cybersecurity, and related fields. The laboratory aims to promote trust in digital content and e-services by strengthening cybersecurity culture and developing innovative solutions to enhance strategic resilience.

 

The main activities of the laboratory include:

  • conducting research in cybersecurity and information security (for academic purposes as well as commissioned by public and private sector organizations);
  • involving students in research and contributing to the implementation of study programmes;
  • developing educational programmes, courses, and seminars;
  • providing consultations and fostering discussion at national and international levels;
  • participating in interdisciplinary research projects that enhance digital security and societal resilience.
