BA School of Business and Finance Foundation (BAF) is a foundation established by the BA School of Business and Finance. The foundation was established on 16 February 2007.
BAF is a public benefit organisation whose main objectives are:
- attracting donations for the promotion of education and research and the implementation of related projects;
- accumulation and management of funds;
- increasing the assets of the foundation;
- distribution and awarding of scholarships, grants, prizes or other funds to persons directly related to education and research;
- allocation of funds for development programmes and projects promoting education and research.
Foundation focus: promotion of education and research, especially in entrepreneurship and finance.

Over the past five years, BAF has attracted donations to support tuition fees (major donors include the Latvian Insurers Association, Colibrix, and university alumni), research support (Latvian Insurers Association, Latvian Parallel Importers of Medicines Association), implementation of student self-government activities such as Bizness24h, and other initiatives.
In cooperation with the BA School of Business and Finance, funding has also been raised from participation fees in Career Days. BAF also supports BASP loyalty events. Donations and raised funds have been used for public benefit purposes – financing study places, awarding prizes for outstanding final theses, supporting research activities, and fostering student innovation.
